Description
Overview
At 700 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lubbock International Airport, or 8 miles south of Abernathy, moving north at 15 mph.

70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Impacts
Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Lubbock, Lubbock International Airport, and New Deal.
