Warning Vector is an independent service for US and Canadian alerts. It is not a government or emergency service.

Alerts, maps and notifications may be inaccurate, incomplete, late or missing. Do not rely on Warning Vector alone. Follow official alerts and emergency instructions.

Where the law allows, we provide the service “as is” and “as available,” without warranties.

To the extent permitted by law, Warning Vector, its owner and contributors are not liable for loss, damage or injury from using, relying on or being unable to use the service, including harm caused by our negligence.

We store account details, saved alert locations, preferences, push subscriptions and delivery records to run and protect the service. Cookies and browser storage remember your login and settings. Location access is optional. We receive coordinates for region lookups and saved alert zones.

We and our providers receive your IP address and browser information. Maps come from Protomaps and GitHub Pages. Protomaps also receives the map areas you request. Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft handles notification subscriptions and delivery. These providers may process data in other countries.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure visits and page performance. It receives page URLs, referrers and technical data, without using cookies, local storage or fingerprinting for analytics. See its data collection and privacy policy.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or track you across websites. Account data is kept until deletion or expiry. You can manage or delete your account on Notifications. For privacy questions or to access, correct or delete your data, email Tanner Ryan.
