Description

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm... At 213 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated gusty showers and possibly a thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This convection was located offshore Brevard county, in particular 10 nm east of Indialantic, moving west at 20 knots. These showers will produce brief downpours and gusty winds as they push onshore and across the intracoastal waters. Occasional lightning strikes are also possible.

Instructions

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
