Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be possible.

A portion of southwest Arizona, including the following areas, Central La Paz, Gila River Valley and Kofa.

From 11 AM MST this morning through this evening.
Impacts
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, normally dry washes, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Additional details
- The combination of abundant moisture, afternoon heating, and a weather system moving into the region will support showers and thunderstorms today through this evening. Moderate to heavy rainfall with rainfall rates in excess of 1-2 inches per hour is expected with most storms and storms may train over the same areas leading to high rainfall accumulations. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
