Description

What

Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be possible.

Where

A portion of south central Arizona, including all of Maricopa County, Northern and Western Pinal County, and Southern Gila County.

When

Through this evening.

Impacts

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, normally dry washes, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Additional details

- The combination of abundant moisture and a weather system moving into the region will support rounds of showers and thunderstorms today through this evening. Moderate to heavy rainfall with rainfall rates in excess of 1-2 inches per hour is expected with most storms.
