Description
Overview
At 554 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 24 miles southwest of Dinosaur, or 29 miles south of Vernal, moving northeast at 50 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Dinosaur and Artesia. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 40 in Utah between mile markers 172 and 174. Colorado 64 between mile markers 3 and 11.
