Description
Overview
At 222 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles northwest of Moab, moving northeast at 15 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of Grand County. This includes U.S. Highway 191 in Utah between mile markers 137 and 139.
