Description
Overview
At 309 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles south of Wellington, or 16 miles south of Price, moving northeast at 20 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Sunnyside and East Carbon. This includes US Route 6 between mile markers 254 and 270.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
