Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring.

Additional details

- At 318 PM MST /418 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Jacks Canyon, Little Colorado River, Cottonwood Wash, Tucker Flat Wash, Clear Creek and Coyote Wash. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Winslow, Winslow-Lindbergh Regional Airport, Homolovi Ruins State Park, Bushman Acres, Clear Creek Reservoir, West Winslow, Coopertown Park, Standin' on the Corner Park, Winslow City Park, Sacred Heart Park and Northland Pioneer College. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between mile markers 245 and 257. Business Interstate 40 between mile markers 252 and 257. State Route 99 between mile markers 39 and 53. State Route 87 between mile markers 339 and 342. This includes the following recreation areas andcampgrounds... Homolovi State Park Campground, Standin on the Corner Park, Sacred Heart Park and Winslow City Park. - Additional information is available at weather.gov/flagstaff.

Instructions

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
