- At 437 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms producing 0.50 and 1.00 inch of heavy rain across extreme southeast Pima county. These storms will continue to move northwest at 20 mph toward the southeast portions of the Tucson Metro Area. Rainfall runof will result in running water in normally dry washes, roadway dips and other low-lying areas. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tucson, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Tanque Verde, Vail, Corona De Tucson, East Sahuarita, Summit, Saguaro National Park East, Rita Ranch, Mescal, Madera Canyon and Arivaca Junction. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 19 between mile markers 31 and 51. Interstate 10 between mile markers 269 and 295. Route 83 between mile markers 38 and 58. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Harrison Rd at Pantano Wash, Country Club Rd at Franco Wash, Old Spanish Trl at Rincon Creek, Houghton Rd from I-10 & Sahuarita Rd, Sahuarita Rd west of Wilmot Rd, Andrada Rd east of Wentworth Rd, Camino Loma Alta at Rincon Creek, Freeman Rd between Broadway and Old Spanish Trail, Old Spanish Trail at Jeremy Wash and Calle Rinconada Rd from Andrada Rd to Sahuarita Rd. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
