Description
Overview
At 547 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 33 miles southwest of Rangely, or 53 miles northwest of Grand Junction, moving northeast at 20 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of Uintah County and Rio Blanco County.
