Overview
At 455 PM MST, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Impacts
Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Drake and Paulden. This includes State Route 89 between mile markers 335 and 359. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Verde River, Big Chino Wash, Rattlesnake Wash, Hell Canyon, Meath Wash, Granite Creek, Grindstone Wash and Wagon Tire Wash.
Instructions
Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become flooded as well. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
