Description
Overview
At 621 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm with torrential rainfall was located over Marana, moving northwest at 10 mph.
Hazard
60 mph wind gusts, torrential rainfall and small hail.

Impacts
Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Oro Valley, Marana, Casas Adobes, Tortolita, Saguaro National Park West, Picture Rocks and Dove Mountain. This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 239 and 250.
Instructions
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
