Description
Overview
At 905 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Three Rivers, moving north at 20 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Three Rivers and Three Rivers Petroglyph Site. This includes Highway 54 in New Mexico between mile markers 83 and 100.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
