What

Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

Where

Portions of central and west central Iowa, including the following counties, in central Iowa, Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek, Story and Tama. In west central Iowa, Greene and Guthrie.

When

Until 10 AM CDT this morning.

Impacts

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

Additional details

- Moderate to heavy rain was falling across parts of the watch area early this morning. Already saturated conditions have lowered the rainfall needed for flash flooding impacts.
