Description
Overview
At 614 AM EDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Bluffton area in Wells County. Localized rainfall estimates between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen so far this morning on already saturated ground. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area.

Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Huntington, Bluffton, Decatur, Berne, Ossian, Geneva, Andrews, Markle, Monroe, Lancaster, Preble, Nottingham, Zanesville, Uniondale, Poneto, Vera Cruz, North Oaks, Murray, Kingsland and Travisville.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
