Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

Portions of south central and southwest New Mexico, including Sierra, Dona Ana, Luna, and eastern Grant Counties and the Sacramento Mountains in northern Otero County.

From Noon MDT today through 6 AM MDT Friday morning.
Impacts
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

- Abundant moisture has moved into the region and scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue tonight. Many areas west of the Rio Grande have received a half inch up to 2 inches of rainfall over recent days, so any additional rainfall could lead to flash flooding.
