Description
A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD... Tidal Potomac from Key Bridge to Indian Head MD... At 149 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a front, capable of producing wind gusts of 20 to 25 knots. This gust front was located along a line extending from 13 nm west of Annapolis to near Tidal Basin to 7 nm northwest of Alexandria, moving south at 20 knots.
Instructions
Mariners can expect gusty winds, locally higher waves, and possibly lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor until these storms pass.
