Description
Overview
At 739 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge, or 20 miles northwest of Oshkosh, moving northeast at 10 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Richardson Lake, Deer Lake, Mumper, Adams Flats, and Rackett.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in North Platte.
