...The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Iowa... North River near Norwalk Hwy R57 affecting Warren and Polk Counties.

At 22.0 feet, Water is over Iowa 28 immediately south of Norwalk and threatens several rural gravel roads.

- At 9:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.9 feet, and falling. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 22.2 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
