Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.

- At 1213 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the Frijoles burn scar. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Northeastern Santa Fe, Espanola, Chimayo, Pojoaque, Nambe Pueblo, Cundiyo, Nambe Lake, Rio En Medio in Santa Fe County, Rio Chiquito and Pojoaque Pueblo. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Runoff from rainfall will cause elevated water levels within vulnerable drainages in and downstream of the Frijoles burn scar.
