Damaging winds are expected. Strong winds are expected. Maximum wind gusts: 90 km/h. Locations: Grand Falls-Windsor and vicinity, Gander and vicinity. Time span: Saturday afternoon. Remarks: Fully leafed trees are more vulnerable to wind damage at this time of year than during the winter season. Be prepared for possible utility outages and consider having basic supplies such as flashlights and batteries on hand.
