...The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Arkansas... Cache River Near Patterson affecting Jackson and Woodruff Counties. For the Cache River...including Patterson...Minor flooding is forecast.

Impacts

At 9.0 feet, Low swampy timberland along the river begins to flood. Flood gates should be closed and equipment moved out of the low grounds along the river and tributaries.

It will then fall below flood stage early Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.1 feet on 07/23/2023. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
