Overview
At 326 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm over Loop Road Ee Center, or 23 miles east of Chokoloskee, moving northeast at 5 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Loop Road Ee Center, Dade-Collier Training Airport, Fortymile Bend, Big Cypress National Preserve, and Everglades National Park.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
