Description
Overview
At 133 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Dinosaur, or 35 miles southeast of Vernal, moving northeast at 25 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

Radar indicated.
Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Dinosaur and Blue Mountain. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 40 in Colorado between mile markers 4 and 21. Colorado 64 between mile markers 1 and 3, and near mile marker 9.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
