Description
Overview
At 538 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles west of Pope AAF, or 7 miles west of Fort Bragg, moving southwest at 15 mph.

60 mph wind gusts.

Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Laurinburg, Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford, Fort Bragg, Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen, Hoffman, and Antioch. This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 26 and 35.
Instructions
Straight line winds can blow down trees, power lines, and damage mobile homes and other buildings. Seek shelter in a sturdy structure until the storm has passed. Stay away from windows as flying debris generated by damaging winds can be deadly.
