Overview
At 602 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Clayton, or 12 miles southeast of Raleigh, moving south at 30 mph.

60 mph wind gusts.

Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Raleigh, Garner, Clayton, Knightdale, Wendell, Flowers, and Lake Benson. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 298 and 312. Interstate 440 between Mile Markers 8 and 16. Interstate 540 between Mile Markers 14 and 24.
Instructions
