Northwestern Sampson County in central North Carolina... East central Harnett County in central North Carolina... Southeastern Wake County in central North Carolina... Johnston County in central North Carolina... * Until 700 PM EDT. * At 610 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Clayton, or 10 miles northwest of Smithfield, moving south at 30 mph.
