Description
Overview
At 659 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Great Falls, or 13 miles south of Lancaster, moving south at 25 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Winnsboro, Lake Wateree Dam, Heath Springs, Longtown, Liberty Hill, Lake Wateree State Park, Fishing Creek Reservoir, Lebanon Fire Station, Bell Town Fire Station, Mitford, Fairfield County Detention Center, Faith Christian School, Winnsboro Mills, Fairfield Elementary School, White Oak, Lake Wateree near Highway 97, Pleasant Hill, and Pine Grove Fire Station. This includes Interstate 77 between mile markers 36 and 50.
