Impacts
Flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
Additional details
- At 508 PM MDT, Between 0.5 and 0.75 inches of rain have fell earlier from strong thunderstorms, which is resulting in flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in additional flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Bountiful, Farmington, North Salt Lake, Centerville, Woods Cross, West Bountiful, Salt Lake City International Airport and Magna. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
