Description
Overview
At 835 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Downtown Greenville, or near Mauldin, moving southwest at 15 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mauldin, Simpsonville, Donaldson Center, Piedmont, and Fork Shoals.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
