- At 728 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Dispatch reports U.S. 385 flooding north of Burlington, CO at 6 PM MT - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Northeastern Kit Carson County.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
