- At 5:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 15.6 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.5 feet on 09/27/2010. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instructions
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Additional river and weather information is available at www.weather.gov/lacrosse. The next statement will be issued this evening by 930 PM CDT.
