- At 7:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 26.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 25.6 feet on 09/23/2016. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instructions
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Additional river and weather information is available at www.weather.gov/lacrosse. The next statement will be issued this evening by 1130 PM CDT.
