Description
Overview
At 127 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms extending from near Reece City to Cherokee Rock Village. Movement was south at 15 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Gadsden, Attalla, Hokes Bluff, Glencoe, Sardis City, Leesburg, Reece City, Ballplay, Tabor Road, Slackland, Cherokee Rock Village, Gadsden Mall, Noccalula Falls, Western Weiss Lake, Gadsden Steam Plant, Howelton, Crudup, Mountainboro, Rockledge, and Keener. This includes the following highways... Interstate 59 between mile markers 182 and 198. US Highway 278 between mile markers 120 and 138, and between mile markers 141 and 144. US Highway 431 between mile markers 258 and 277.
