Overview

At 333 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of Charleston, or 8 miles south of Decatur, moving south at 5 mph.

Hazard

Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

Impacts

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cleveland, Benton, Etowah, Charleston, East Cleveland, Wildwood Lake, South Cleveland, Calhoun, Riceville, and Waterville.
