Overview
At 234 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Helena, moving south at 15 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Hoover, Alabaster, Pelham, Helena, Riverchase, Patton Creek, Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, Ross Bridge, Riverchase Galleria, Joe Tucker Park, Siluria, Bessemer Airport, and Lake Cyrus. This includes Interstate 459 between mile markers 6 and 14.
