Description
Overview
At 319 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated that the thunderstorms producing heavy rain near Laguna Pueblo had ended, but another storm producing heavy rain was approaching from the southwest. Between 1.25 and 1.75 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Impacts
Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Laguna Pueblo, New Laguna, Mesita and Paraje. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 108 and 118.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
