Description

Overview

At 633 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles southeast of Newland, or 6 miles southeast of B.R. Parkway-Linville Falls To Grandfather, moving southeast at 15 mph.

Hazard

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Gamewell, Table Rock, Lake James, Cajah's Mountain, Lake James State Park, Edgemont, Collettsville, Oak Hill, Jonas Ridge, and Globe.
