Description

Overview

At 622 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Powder River, which is 31 miles northwest of Casper, moving east at 20 mph.

Hazard

Wind gusts up to 40 mph, penny size hail, and accumulating small hail.

Impacts

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Goldeneye Reservoir around 640 PM MDT.
