Description
Overview
At 745 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 3 miles south of Holton to Topeka, moving east at 50 mph.
Hazard
70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

Public. At 733 PM CDT, a wind gust of 64 MPH was measured near Lake Sherwood. A spotter also reported estimated 65 MPH winds at highway 75 and the Prairie Band Casino at 641 PM CDT.
Impacts
Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Topeka, Rossville, Dover, Silver Lake, Hoyt, Mayetta, Denison, Delia, Willard, Potawatomi Reservation, and Pauline. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 between mile markers 346 and 355. Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 173 and 183.
