Description
Overview
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa... Turkey River at Spillville affecting Winneshiek County. .Much of the Turkey River Basin from Garber upstream through Spillville received 2 to 5 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. The latest forecasts brings the crest at Elkader lower due to lower forecast precipitation amounts during the overnight as well as a slower routing from upstream locations. Much of the uncertainty in these river forecasts stems from uncertainty in how fast the water will flow downstream with time.
