Overview
At 1215 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Newberry College, or over Newberry, moving southwest at 10 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Newberry, Prosperity, Newberry College, Newberry County Airport, Silverstreet, Stoney Hill, Newberry County Detention Center, US-176 and SC-34 Crossroads, Bush River Fire Station, Enoree Ranger District Office, and Kinards. This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 62 and 80.
