Description
Overview
At 1256 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mcarthur, moving southeast at 25 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Athens, Wellston, Mcarthur, Albany, Rutland, Hamden, Zaleski, Wilkesville, Radcliffe, Dyesville, Darwin, Salem Center, Harrisonville, Dexter, Kyger, and Carpenter.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to travel across flooded roads. Find alternate routes. It takes only a few inches of swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles away.
