Description
The areas affected include... Icy Strait... Cross Sound... Cape Edgecumbe to Cape Spencer out to 15 NM... Cape Spencer to Cape Fairweather out to 15 NM... * At 919 AM AKDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This strong thunderstorm was located 10 NM west of Cape Cross, moving north at 30 knots. Locations impacted include... Cape Spencer, Yakobi Rock, Graves Harbor, Surge Bay, Cape Cross, Three Hill Island, Palma Bay, Elfin Cove, Port Althorp and Inian Island.
