Overview

At 600 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Whitmire, or 13 miles south of Union. This storm was nearly stationary.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Whitmire. This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 62 and 67.
