Description

Overview

At 526 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast of Eads, or 24 miles southwest of Cheyenne Wells, moving southeast at 25 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR Highway 287 from Mile Markers 116 to 122 north of Eads.

Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles. Locations impacted include... Eads, Sheridan Lake, Chivington, Brandon, and Neeoshe Reservoir.
