Until 300 AM MDT Monday.
Impacts
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
Additional details
- At 823 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen today. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Burlington, Stratton, Flagler, Seibert, Bethune and Vona.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
