Description

Overview

At 1132 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Lake Hope State Park to near Albany to 14 miles southeast of Mcarthur to 8 miles west of Rutland to 10 miles north of Rio Grande, moving southeast at 25 mph.

60 mph wind gusts.

Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Athens, Pomeroy, Albany, Rutland, Middleport, Vinton, Wilkesville, Dyesville, Darwin, Salem Center, Harrisonville, Dexter, Kyger, Carpenter, and The Plains.

Instructions

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
