Description
Overview
At 1220 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sylvan Springs, or near Hueytown. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Bessemer, Hueytown, Fairfield, Pleasant Grove, Midfield, Adamsville, Brighton, Sylvan Springs, Mulga, Maytown, North Johns, Edgewater, Concord, McDonald Chapel, Dolomite, and Birmingport. This includes Interstate 59 between mile markers 115 and 118.
